ÖGPW Empfehlungen für Summer (bzw. Winter-)schools

1st European Field Experiments Summer School in Palermo, Sicily
The Summer School, which is supported by King’s College London, the University of Zurich, ETH Zurich, Simon Fraser University and the University of Palermo, takes place between 5 and 9 June. The Summer School course covers the theory, method and practice of conducting randomized field experiments in the social sciences. Participation requires little prior statistical, and no experimental knowledge. The goal of the course is to provide participants with the methodological knowledge and the practical skills to run and analyse their own field experiments. The course will be taught jointly by three field experimentalists: Alex Coppock (Yale University), Eline de Rooij (Simon Fraser University) and Florian Foos (King’s College London).
Summer school fees of 1,000 Euro cover five full days of tuition, accommodation in twin rooms, lunches and a conference dinner. During the school, participants will live in the historic center of Palermo.
