Einreichungen für das „Forschungsjahr im Parlament“ 2024 jetzt möglich

Im Rahmen der Initiative „Forschungsjahr im Parlament“ lobt der Rechts-, Legislativ- und Wissenschaftliche Dienst (RLW) der Parlamentsdirektion des österreichischen Parlaments einen Werkvertrag über eine wissenschaftliche Forschungsarbeit zu einem parlamentsbezogenen Thema (in der Höhe von insgesamt EUR 16.000,00 brutto) aus.

Vertreter:innen aus allen wissenschaftlichen Disziplinen, die sich mit einem Thema rund um das österreichische Parlament auseinandersetzen wollen, sind eingeladen, ihre Ideen einzureichen. Der:Die ausgewählte:r Wissenschaftler:in bekommt Unterstützung von Mitarbeiter:innen der Parlamentsdirektion sowie Zugang zu den oben genannten Wissensressourcen, um das Forschungsvorhaben umzusetzen.

6th ESPAnet Austria Conference

Call for Papers – April 4-5, 2024 Johannes Kepler University Linz

We cordially invite you to the 6th ESPAnet Austria Conference. The conference will take place on April 4-5, 2024 at the Johannes Kepler University Linz and is organised by the Institute for Politics and Social Policy. ESPAnet (The European Network for Social Policy Analysis) is a network of European social policy researchers. ESPAnet Austria promotes the exchange and cooperation of researchers in and outside Austria who conduct research in the field of social policy with a focus on Austria.
We welcome interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary approaches to the analysis of social policy. We invite established as well as young researchers to participate in the Call for Papers and tosubmit abstracts for presentations. Presentations should focus on social policy in Austria or Austrian social policy in European and international comparison. Other social policy topics are also welcome. Presentations should go beyond mere project descriptions or planned projects.
When submitting online, the following information must be provided:

• Title of the presentation
• Abstract with information on background and research question, method or approach,
  and results (max. 300 words)
• Name of the presenter
• Name of all authors
• Language of presentation
• Willingness to serve as panel chair (chairing and moderating a panel)
